I have to chime in as a huge fan of Gentileschi. I once saw a comparison of all Judith paintings, and hers stands out so far ahead of the others that it’s not even close. The misogyny she encountered non-stop as a child and young woman was mind-boggling. Her art speaks of her passion to paint.
