Carragher can fuck off, the attention seeking knob.
December 16, 2025 at 9:41 AM
Carragher thinks he is the 'man of the people' that Gerrard actually is. Also, if you need to shout "I am a man of the people" then you're probably not.

We've been barely better defensively because we have Szobo compensating for our "6" who has been given the license to act like he's a false 9 all season by a manager who has failed to show he has a clue how to get the best out of this squad.
December 13, 2025 at 11:51 AM
Gomez hasn't been injured the entire season. Wirtz has been largely anonymous in the middle with one of his best performances, if not the best, has come off the left. And we've been just as shite in attack as we were with Salah.
December 13, 2025 at 11:49 AM
Christ, have you not watched us this season?
December 13, 2025 at 8:59 AM
And he's done fuckall to earn that 400k/week? Gakpo, Gravenberch and Konate, have been total arse this entire season AND we have better replacements for them in the squad, but Salah gets blamed and dropped.
December 13, 2025 at 8:58 AM
Because he is the scape goat.
December 13, 2025 at 6:57 AM
On top of that, I dont think Slot wants to play a way that lets his signings play to their strengths (e.g. Kerkez's rampaging runs up and down the left). Its all very confusing and I don't know if we find a solution to it all under Slot.
December 13, 2025 at 6:55 AM
I think a big part of the problem is that we bought players for what we thought they could be, rather than what they are right now - its the only explanation for why we are using everyone so differently to how they played previously.
December 13, 2025 at 6:53 AM
First bit of adversity on and off the pitch and Slot has handled it as badly as he could have. I haven't really been in/out as I accept individual players are going to be below par because of off field factors, but Slot has objectively handled this poorly all around.
December 13, 2025 at 6:05 AM
Bit part players like Gakpo and Harvey Elliott always look great in p90 stats because they're effective in short bursts but if they played regularly they wouldn't be able to sustain their short term effectiveness.
December 13, 2025 at 5:09 AM
His 'p90' stats look great because he hasnt been good enough at Liverpool to command a regular starting spot. He has benefited this season from playing in a poor side, with no competition for his place, for a countryman who cuts him more slack than others.
December 12, 2025 at 7:20 PM
First full seasons at Liverpool. Two players were important and another was down the pecking because he wasn't good enough. Even last season competing against Diaz, he was a backup - because he's not starting quality for a title chasing side.
December 12, 2025 at 7:18 PM
Hmmm Gakpo started almost 3k minutes less than Sadio and almost 2.5k minutes less than Firmino. I wonder why....
December 12, 2025 at 4:27 PM
Is Salah any more of a liability off the ball than the likes of Gakpo and Gravenberch? Not a chance. Grav is supposed to be a six but he's taking up positions you'd hope to see from a false 9. Salah has 100% been scapegoated.
December 10, 2025 at 4:41 PM
We were brilliant against Madrid (much better than we were last night) and absolutely shite afterwards, so I'm not going to read too much into it.
December 10, 2025 at 11:14 AM
Playing a formation that suits a number 10 and not playing the £100m+ number 10 we signed is.... interesting
December 9, 2025 at 8:22 PM
If he wanted more defensive stability in midfield he maybe shouldn't have told his beloved untouchable compatriot #6 he could waltz into the attacking third whenever he felt like it
December 9, 2025 at 7:50 PM
Same shape as we played last season with Wirtz instead of Diaz. Our inability to "carry the piano" would be much improved if Gravenberch wasn't given the license to pop up in positions where I expect to see a CF. He's a much bigger problem to our defensive stability than Salah.
December 9, 2025 at 8:01 AM
Everything is the Muslim's fault. Obviously. They have BEEN waiting for this moment.
December 9, 2025 at 7:59 AM
Could see him taking up a caretaker role out of a sense of obligation to the club, but don't think he'd get back in full time. Don't think I want him back long-term either. Going backwards rarely leads to great success.
December 7, 2025 at 12:45 PM
I struggle with this idea that Salah has suddenly physically fallen off a cliff and isn't able to contribute anymore. He's been misused in a confused and ever changing system, and like many others, he isn't able to perform at his best. I cant wrap my head around him suddenly being a geriatric.
December 7, 2025 at 12:33 PM
If the fans can see that the system/s are not getting the best out of anyone, then sure as hell the players do too. Even the new signings have been misused and have therefore underperformed. Wouldn't surprise me if a good few of them are fed up.
