I discovered this amazing baker when she donated FIVE wedding cakes to our Valentine's event. She's AMAZING. Small business, local, and such an amazing supporter.

THIS is why I grabbed a sampler to work on...learning new stitches to make even better pieces. I'm loving the folksy aspect.

Going back to the healthy basics. I've been slacking on my diabetic friendly diet, so this week I'm renewing the meal prepping...this week is my "jambalaya" with andouille, chicken breast, okra, greens, etc. No carbs. I have two meals a day with no carbs so I can be a little freer with dinner.

This was the first year I made my own instead of ordering one. Colored the sugar myself! En bebe was a rose quartz...since I don't keep the plastic ones.
