Glam rock band, Sweet’s lead singer Brian Connolly’s connection to Govanhill. According to his birth certificate, his mother was a waitress named Frances Patricia Connolly who lived at Aikenhead Road, Glasgow. Brian was born out of wedlock and the father’s name is not shown on the certificate.
