The Hill has updated it story: The Trump admin is proposing not to renew a one-time $64M payment to Howard for the university hospital, stating the funds are no longer needed with the construction ‘complete’

I’m told construction isn’t done, though. I’ve also attached a statement from Howard:

The impact of making the loans worse, limiting the loan amounts students can borrow, and cutting Pell grants that supplement those amounts is that private lenders will regain a foothold in this market with terrible loan terms, or scam artists peddling inferior education and predatory financing.

The Education Secretary could also not discharge loans of borrowers whose *school closes down.* You'd have to keep paying for an education at a school that is no longer giving you or anyone else an education.
