One unexpected benefit of having to catch up on F1 from so far back (I just finished watching COTA), is that the races were so long ago, I've forgotten any results that I got spoiled about.

242nd time's the charm apparently for Nico; and what a race #F1 had at Silverstone today for him to do it in. I didn't think anything'd top Interlagos, at least for races I'd see, yet here we are. The highlight reel might as well just be the whole race from start to finish.

Every #F1 race recently makes me wonder more... is Max wringing out every last scrap of performance from a virtually undriveable car? Or is there some serious mismatch of spec/parts between the first and second Red Bull car somehow?

Only 1 point between Ferrari and Mercedes. It may not be for the top of the #F1 constructor's championship, but I'm loving how close the two teams are for 2nd place!

As with many others, I was worried that the "promotion" of Tsunoda to the main Red Bull #F1 team would be a curse more than blessing. Even I didn't think it'd be as bad as it's turned out.
Makes me wonder just how bad the Red Bull is in terms of balance/drivability.

Race by race evaluation of Colapinto is rough... and I feel counterproductive for Alpine. Of course, performance is wanted and expected by the time you reach #F1; but this kind of pressure on a driver, especially when your team's car is clearly behind the majority of the field only invites mistakes.

Finally managed to find time to watch the Spanish Grand Prix and uhh... so much for a mix-up of the field with the updated front wing rules.
On the bright side, looks like the Mercedes vs Ferrari fight is really heating up.

Hoping we'll see a lot more action at the #F1 race in Bahrain. There's a few more braking zones heavy enough to cause a proper duel or two, so I'm kiind of optimistic.
