Um, most of us live paycheck to paycheck, so losing a job would be devastating. What I'm speaking to is my experience in unionized protesting. I don't recall the details, but striking is a protected form of protest. I don't give a fuck if y'all lie, I just want y'all to be safe while we fight.

Pretty sure you can be fired for that (lying about using sick leave or something?). Claiming you are protesting and just not showing up, however, is protected behavior. At least for now. 🤷🏼‍♀️
