(I never once complained about forams being so abundant and sticking to every other zooplankton in some samples, I promise 🫰
Small metal apparatus to split foraminifera samples (It fits on the palm of the hand A lovely 3D-printed model of a foraminifera species, Globorotalia menardii (about the size of my palm as well). You can make out about five chambers. The material is light colored A *bad* picture of a foraminifera sample under a microscope. I don’t know the magnification, but there are several species of forams in the slide. All quite intact
