Mary Prince escaped in 1828, sharing her story and those of enslaved women. In 1831, The History of Mary Prince became the first account of a Black enslaved woman’s life published in the UK, inspiring the anti-slavery movement. 158 days to Slavery Remembrance Day. #CountDowntoSRD

Barf. Some of us work better at home because of so many reasons.
Gov. Gavin Newsom today signed an executive order mandating that all state agencies and departments that continue to offer remote work require a minimum of four in-person days per work week starting on July 1. cal.news/3EYqq2g

The attack on DEI shows why liberals should stop arguing about "strategic" use of language forever. DEI stands for three uncontroversial virtues that most every American accepts, and the right still turned it into a vile slur. It doesn't matter what you say - they will poison it because YOU said it.

The thing I hate the most about being a small business owner is the website maintenance. When something goes wrong it takes forever to get it fixed because no matter how hard I try I am so bad at the tech stuff.

Not my FAVORITE from The Last Kingdom Sihtric on season 3 of White Lotus. I'll endure the stress for him and him alone.

White Lotus dropping stress in the first 5 mins of season 3 premier is just great

EVERYONE in the United States, citizen or not, has rights. I will not allow this administration to intimidate us from helping you know about them.

I know pointing out hypocrisy doesn’t matter anymore, but if there’s one person I wouldn’t want to be the judge of who goes into locker rooms, it would be the man who openly boasted about walking into dressing rooms of underage girls
