After a lovely ladies lunch, it was on to sorting out the pantry. @missing-digit.bsky.social put the shelves together while I was out and then left me to be way too precise as to where things want to live!!! 😂

Of a 6 hour sculpture session (working slowly), nearly 2 hours was spent on that flipping hat alone! I can honestly say I never thought I'd be making a russian military hat for a pig. Well, I can also say.....never again!!! My interpretation of Snowball from Animal Farm. "4 legs good, 2 legs bad!"

Cattypuss now has his whiskers and is ready to trot off to his home. I can honestly say that I will probably never try and put whiskers in again! Worth it in the end, but sooooo much faff!!! Profanity galore while affixing them! He still needs a name.........

A few of the latest creations. Piggy inspired by Napoleon from Animal Farm, a cat (which will have the whiskers attached when they arrive) for a 40th birthday present and some more cattypuss candle holders for a friend. 😊

Trinket dish. Built from a scrap piece of clay at the end of the day and then using slip to build up the edges to look like the wave crests. Used stroke and coat glaze to finish.

My Dad made a small plasticine piggy when I was a kid. It sits on my parents' spice rack and is very loved. I used it as inspiration to create this jaunty little piggy for their 50th wedding anniversary. 🐷
