There’s something so deeply unsettling about NEON’s PRESENCE. It’s not terrifying, so don’t go into it thinking it’s your standard haunted house horror picture. It’s a provocative look into grief, and how it can become an endless cycle. Lovely payoff.

That being said, Timothée Chalamet genuinely impressed me with his performance and the praise is deserved. However, Monica Bárbaro stole the show for me. Entrancing and multifaceted, she brings the fire to this film.

Watching A COMPLETE UNKNOWN feels a lot like falling in love, slow to start then sudden & all at once. Charming, but ultimately falls flat in its lack of bravery. A true product of the biopic genre, it shines for a moment then fizzles out once you leave your seat.

Lost count of how many times I cried with #WickedMovie. It is positively, delightfully marvelous & moving. Jon M. Chu’s adaptation of such iconic work is unlimited. Ariana Grande & Cynthia Erivo are a perfect pair. Jonathan Bailey gives Ryan Gosling a run for his money. Aaah! 💚
