If you have a 13th or 14th generation Intel CPU there is a necessary BIOS update needed to prevent system instability if you've not installed it already. Check the website of your motherboard manufacturer's website to snag the update.

If you recently did a Windiws update, the update could be unstable. Are you using Windows 10 or 11? If it's 11 I've been hearing from a lot of folks that manually updating their device drivers fixed the issue, or by doing an update rollback.

I use the Elgato Wave 3 which is a usb mic. I don't have any audio interface and it works well for me. There is a dynamic XLR version of the mic if your audio interface requires an XLR connection.
