Exactly! My bf makes fun of me for it because I will stomp around my apt in a rage grumbling about how I hate the protagonist and the tropes and I’m sick of everyone, and yet on I march pressing play to finish the audiobook. And then the next. 😭 I wonder if we’re thinking about the same series…

Oh yes. Most in the romance genre. I’ve been burnt so many times, but if I start a series, I have to keep reading to know what happens or I’ll die.

I wish I knew about it sooner. I only just joined, but it has been very good to me so far! And any opportunity to support local/divest from Amazon is a big plus!

I only just found out about/ downloaded it! It’s an alternative to audible/Amazon for audiobooks that supports local bookstores!

You sure are! I gave up and got it on Libro because it still said it was an 18 week wait on Libby. 😭 How any reader of this series could be in possession of that level of self control is beyond me!

God bless and happy reading or listening! If you click to see the hold details you can usually see that your place in line jumps because the library acquired more copies. That’s probably what happened since it’s in such high demand.
