You're fortunate to not have any chronic illness, many people are not. The point was we could fill the gap in food easier short term than tens of thousands in healthcare costs when emergencies or chronic illness was an issue. Stop using your own experience alone as an indicator. It's not smart.

I swear to god, if you let Dems capitulate to Trump on the shutdown, I won't be donating to the Dem party directly till you are no longer in a leadership position.
