I went Quansah too and him being subbed was a real head in hands moment

Annoying - he was meant to come to Brentford, wonder what happened
August 16, 2024 at 11:31 AM
Just like how every smoker I know is always saying they're 'cutting down'
August 16, 2024 at 7:49 AM
Love it, what an interesting chart
August 15, 2024 at 11:14 PM
That's interesting!
August 15, 2024 at 10:31 PM
Interesting! It inevitably will get out of hand and this place is going to need an old Twitter style verification process
August 15, 2024 at 10:11 PM
It's possible, although if Labour think they might lose the next election it will be 2029

We don't really know what the Tories or Reform will look like yet. Also possible the Green collapse or become a major force.

Only thing I'm confident with is that the LDs will get a similar share of the vote

Wonder if it will be another one of those weird transfers where Villa buy him back if Southampton get relegated
August 15, 2024 at 9:38 PM
The worst thing about Twitter was that its function as a place for discussion was completely destroyed, you'd click on any post and all the top comments were just porn and bots. You couldn't even use it as a platform for finding out what people on Twitter thought about something

Good to see another Bee! I liked him but I am a bit relieved I won't have to see him attempt to take a long throw again. Good luck to him!

Agreed we need another CB
August 15, 2024 at 4:55 PM
Is the reverse also true for Vance?

I think he's a complete disaster but he does take some attention away from Trump
August 15, 2024 at 3:53 PM
I'm really not doing anyone's work, no one cares about my opinion on this. I'm also not policing anyone's words, if you want to call it a genocide then go ahead

I think it is abhorrent whether it meets the definition of genocide or not
August 15, 2024 at 3:48 PM
I agree that he should be able to go but the sad reality of the situation is that he can't really due to riots a couple of weeks ago due to political reasons
August 15, 2024 at 3:41 PM
I just don't think Davey is a racist
August 15, 2024 at 3:29 PM
Bit much telling me to drop dead

Sorry for making the mistake about Ed Davey being a Junior minister 👍
August 15, 2024 at 3:27 PM
I agree with that, the difference in my mind is that Cornyn was leader of the party and Davey was just a junior minister in a collation partner. The level of responsibility they had over the situations wasn't comparable
August 15, 2024 at 3:18 PM
I'm saying I would be using it flippantly, there are clearly people much better placed to comment on it than me who are using it. I wouldn't accuse them of being flippant
August 15, 2024 at 3:14 PM
I wanted Corbyn to win in 2019, I'm not defending working against him, I'm also not defending the antisemitism that was present in the Labour party under him
August 15, 2024 at 3:12 PM
I know what you're getting at, you're saying he should have resigned from government over this - maybe, I can see that argument, I can't say this new (to me) information has changed my view of him because he is hardly involved in the story

If a new election was held tomorrow I'd vote LD again
August 15, 2024 at 3:06 PM
That's clearly unacceptable but I do think the connection to Davey and Swinson is tenuous
August 15, 2024 at 2:59 PM
I don't want to use the term genocide flippantly because it clearly is (understandably) emotive to lots of people. So I personally avoid using it to describe the Gaza situation but I understand why other do. I don't necessarily disagree

The situation is appalling and needs to end
August 15, 2024 at 2:58 PM
I obviously did know about the coalition, I just assumed when you were talking about a Lib Dem antisemitism issue you weren't talking about a situation involving a Tory from a decade ago
August 15, 2024 at 2:54 PM
Don't think that's the right link, it's about a Tory from 2014?
August 15, 2024 at 2:47 PM
I voted Labour in 2019, my justification for not voting for them this time is that I moved to a new seat which is a Tory/ Lib Dem marginal.

The antisemitism in Labour under Corbyn was an issue but didn't define how I voted.
