The Duke's Archive's lighting in the game normally always looked strange to me especially compared to other areas - like it was being lit globally, so seeing it improved would be peak.

The Duke's Archive's lighting in the game normally always looked strange to me especially compared to other areas - like it was being lit globally, so seeing it improved would be peak.
Dark Souls 2 feels like an official fan game in terms of art direction and feel compared to the other two games, but at the same time that's what makes it so unique.
Dark Souls 3 feels like a more apocalyptic, ash-y and Bloodborne-y version of Dark Souls 1, but Dark Souls 2? It's so different.

It's funny because I initially loathed Dark Souls 2 when starting it after finishing Dark Souls 1, especially Scholar's enemy placements and the game feeling like bullshit, but now I'm on the opposite side and I think I might actually like it more than Dark Souls 3 lol

I'm currently addicted to Dark Souls 2 and I have no idea why, I just really like its sense of progression and actually being able to upgrade armour unlike Dark Souls 3 is a huge W for me.
