Happy Batman Day, it's a great time to be reading his comics!

Spider-Man: Reign is a weird book to say the least, but I appreciate everything different it tried to do. It also has one of the most 'hell yeah' pages in a superhero comic.

#Superman is an all-star launch for the new DCU. David Corenswet is such an emotional, vulnerable, yet hopeful lead. I hope these characters continue for years to come, because this world is such a breath of fresh air for superhero movies. As expected, Krypto is the MVP in every scene he's in.

I collected the first few editions of this hardcover collection Marvel released across Europe. This story was my first exposure to JMS Spidey and I loved every second of it. Still some of the best ASM issues imo.

Happy #SupermanDay to the OG superhero!

I enjoyed the first issue of the new ASM run. Joe Kelly has had a good handle on Peter's voice in the past, and I'm excited to see a deeper exploration of his childhood. Pepe Larraz on art has me praying he stays on for years. This was a great start and I hope the rest of the arc keeps it up!

10 years ago today, the best MCU character made his debut. Daredevil is such a special show that stands as the benchmark for superheroes on the small screen. If Matt doesn't solo Doom next year I'm rioting.

Didn't know CinemaCon was happening, so I woke up on April Fools and thought these were super elaborate pranks. Thankfully not the case. Beyond looks incredible and I'm cautiously optimistic for this new direction the MCU is taking with Spider-Man.

It's been a great week for comic announcements. Zdarskay and Schiti on Cap, Fraction and Jimenez on Batman, Miles travelling to 6160, a Mr. Terrific mini, a Krypto mini, and a new Supergirl ongoing? We're eating good this summer.

To Jeff Trammell and every creative who worked on this show (I never should have doubted you):

#YourFriendlyNeighborhoodSpiderMan has completely won me over. This show is what MCU Peter should have been. Every episode goes from strength to strength with its humour, action, and character development elevating this to one of the best Spider-Man shows ever made. I'm beyond excited for season 2!

Brave New World definitely felt like a movie that went through tons of reshoots. Rushed pacing and wonky green screens really held this back for me. The main villain reveal was undermined years ago when Nelson was cast, and his design looks like it came from the Arrowverse. Mackie deserved better.

It's been a while since a Marvel trailer has made me this excited! First Steps is going to be a game changer for the MCU, and I can't wait to see more of this retro-future world! Between this, their inclusion in Marvel Rivals, and the current Ryan North run, it's a great time to be an FF Fan!

My main critique so far is the 3D animation style. Leonardo Romero's art in the concept art looks beautiful, but I don't think it translates well on 3D models. Going the X-Men '97 route of making the show look 2D would have been the better approach.
