kind of the point of making art is that there's risk, it's vulnerable to express creatively, you're letting someone behind the curtain just a little. the philosophical disgust i have of AI is that you're not taking a risk. "you're* not making anything. it's ugly, but more importantly it's not *you*.

i think a lot of people have this idea that art is a thing that's necessarily beautiful and needs to be appreciated and awarded when actually it's just like... anything you express creatively. the problem with stuff like AI art isn't that it isn't good, it's that you didn't actually express it

when you make comics, what's your process for getting your story into your thumbnails? i'm always interested to see how other comics people do this!

when i designed this character the brief i gave myself was "immortal mosquito who cannot die but instead just gets a bit fucked up when you swat her"

that's not fair, sometimes i also say "damn are you okay?"
