Right. Just ripped something and yes it's in the libary but keeps the libary separate from the music available on streaming which is good :)

Though I've not ripped any music in iTunes so they might appear in Libary but not when you limit search to Apple Music.

Apple Music doesn't access rips and when searching you select either Apple Music or your Library (iTunes purchases).

and it doesn't show my music from ripped CDs either

Looking at Apple Music, it does keep my purchased music separate from the streaming stuff.

Still buying CDs too as my Arcam Alpha 7SE still sounds superb.

It's best on surround speakers but there ways of listening via headphones. I pay for Apple Music which supports it over headphones on my phone, iPad and PC .

Though somehow, I've ended up with 3 vinyl copies of Divine Comedy's latest album as I bought a bundle which has 2 versions in it and my wife bought one of them separately as well from Rough Trade so she could get a ticket to the acoustic set at their Liverpool store last weekend.

Started buying more vinyl records recently after a couple of decades of not doing so but am limiting myself as blu-rays with Dolby Atmos mixes of albums that I love keep getting released too!
