I’d say it’s disappointing how quickly people forget the lessons they’ve learned, but I don’t think that’s true. I think people ignore the lessons and never bother learning them to begin with. Learning requires changing yourself and acknowledging that you were wrong or just didn’t know something.

I’ll be legit disappointed if the bastard dies of natural causes before we kick him out. He deserves to be deposed. Feel free to fill in “the bastard” with any number of current despots and their lackeys.
