A big part of the Trumpian backlash is quite literally down to politicians (LIKE OBAMA) toeing the corporate party line. Bailouts for banks, austerity for the medically needy. Hope and Change, remember?

On the one hand you’re telling me, I can only do what I can do, as an individual. But isn’t pressing those with some power to affect change doing something? And why is Obama absolved of that message you want to put on me and other individuals? You think he paid his dues and can wash his hands?

Agree to disagree I guess.. Obama had 12 years of public service, and then has stumped for Clinton & Harris. Produced some Netflix content. I don’t think he “owes” anyone anything per se, this is his country too. If I were in his position I’d be worried about what the next 4 years will bring.
