Lunar new year is around the corner! Making pineapple tarts and Huat Kueh this year (or attempting to). Much of culture revolves around food experiences and i love it. I'm curious about the biology behind cravings linked to childhood memories and how it works? 🤔

I vividly remember playing chapteh with him weekly when I was a boy. Despite his position, he was incredibly humble, often taking time to chat with my grandfather and me. His genuine warmth left a lasting impression.

As 2024 ends, I’m reflecting on a year of successes—publications, grants, PhD completions, awards—and challenges: multiple rejections and personal struggles. Through it all, the team’s growth and resilience have been inspiring. I’m tired but grateful. Here’s to a restful break and a bright 2025!
