What are your recommendations for new bands/performers?

I saw Die Spitz last week and the “band on the cusp of breaking out huge” energy in the room was wild. I love the legacy acts though I need more new music in my life.

The commitment to this truly silly joke immediately pulled me in. The laughs are nonstop throughout. Love, love, love listening to these performances!

There’s a prelude to start the show with a buildup to, “FOR THIS — WAS ENGLAND!”

Then this. 😂😂

It’s tough when you’re watching something and clearly the actors are not engaging with their surroundings. Thought the of Avatar was interesting. That’s all fake though feels more natural. Very interesting.

Colman Domingo is great! Best part of the movie for me.

If you grew up around that time, then this album most likely had a story for you.

There’s any number of other things I could be doing — yet I’m watching until the bitter end.

It’s been a loooong day due to this overtime game.

There would be so many more games like this if Vladar wasn’t stellar this season.

Also, they stopped the show near the end and asked the crowd to part ways so the “gays and theys” could come up close to the stage. Everyone accommodated immediately and applauded. That sense of unity and support — invigorating to be in that room. #DieSpitz

Anyway, the show….

I think about all the kids that grew up with COVID shutting down the world and the pent-up rage at institutions consistently failing them. I hope the power can be harnessed and there is a reckoning. We need that energy.

Was hoping they’d have Teeth on sale at the merch table. Thankfully they let me leave before the show started to take it to my car — because that album would have been in pieces if I tried to hold it throughout the concert! 🤣
