Piglet thumping is a widespread practice that kills weak or injured piglets. It’s a brutal method—delivering blunt force trauma to end a life—that comes with a great risk of error and inconsistency. Will you add your name against this practice? thl.link/48932vB

Day-old chicks, sorted and thrown into crates like they're nothing more than vegetables.
In the egg industry, the female chicks are debeaked, while male chicks are killed by asphyxiation or maceration since they don't lay eggs.

Her milk is for her baby. She's a mother, not a piece of equipment.

It sounds too horrible to be true: Weak, sick, or injured piglets are killed by grabbing them by the hind legs and smashing them against concrete walls or floors. This practice is called piglet thumping, and it's legal and widespread on pig farms.

For every cow producing milk, there's a baby that was ripped away from her.
Unwanted calves are shot. Calves that will grow up to be exploited for milk or slaughtered for beef or veal are kept in solitary pens. Many die of neglect.

Crammed together with no room to move or rest... Living beings shouldn't be treated this way.

Ammonia from the feces of thousands of chickens stings their eyes and inflames their skin. Their body aches from their muscles growing too big, too fast. Some among them lie dead or dying from the squalid conditions.

The dairy industry impregnates cows just to exploit their motherhood for milk. A few "lucky" calves are allowed to stay with their moms, but "anti-suckling devices" are placed in their noses to stop them from drinking the milk the farm wants to sell 💔

Animals at this slaughterhouse are killed in full view of each another. On their last day of life they know nothing but pain and terror.
We can and must do better—for them.

Can you imagine the anxiety and fear pigs feel as they huddle inside overcrowded transport trucks parked outside of the slaughterhouse? These are some of their last moments alive.

As the summer heat intensifies, think of the animals enduring the high temperatures on filthy factory farms and in metal transport trucks. This pig could barely take the long, hot drive to the slaughterhouse.

Four months—That's how long a mother pig is pregnant with her babies. During that time, she's subjected to extreme confinement in a gestation crate. It's so cramped that she can't even turn around.

The science is clear: crustaceans feel pain.
When they're boiled alive, lobsters endure nearly three full minutes of conscious, unimaginable suffering 💔

The prison cell known as a farrowing crate that we force a mother pig to endure—litter after litter, year after year—until her nightmare of a life is ended at the slaughterhouse.

This cow had gone through year after year of pregnancy, birth, and traumatic separation from her newborn calves. Once her milk production dropped and her body could no longer be exploited for profit, she was designated as a "cull" and sent to auction.

Impregnated just to have her baby dragged away after birth year after year, forced to live crowded indoors in a filthy concrete shed—how could this be anything other than cruelty?
May 29, 2025 at 3:10 PM
This is piglet thumping; A baby pig is picked up by his or her back legs, and slammed head-first onto the floor.
This brutal practice is not only legal; It's the pork industry's most common method of killing sick, weak, or injured piglets 💔
