A complete waste to charge anyone w a Federal crime unless you know Trump dislikes them. State charges are now the only way to be sure criminals are held responsible.

I follow a number of social media sites dedicated to military personnel. Today I learned the phrase “blue falcon”, which appeared repeatedly in reference to Hegseth. Along with various versions of the bus metaphor.

I doubt anything bad will happen to our planes down there. But I wouldn’t want to be one of those crew members and have those war crime/murders hanging over my head for the rest of my life. (5/5)

Needless to say, they all respected the rule after that. Felt the crew had brought this upon themselves. And these wee definite enemy combatants, not just guys on a suspicious boat. I guess we have changed. (4/5)

He said that when they heard about this back on base, they had a very uneasy feeling about it. Not long after, that plane that violated the rules was hit and some crew members killed. I assume this was TN 1629, May 24, 2 crew members killed. (3/x)

He once told me there was a rule… Whether written or unwritten I’m not sure… That individuals away from vehicles were not to be targeted. Someone running from a destroyed truck, for example. They all knew this. But on one mission,” one of the planes disregarded this and killed some people. (2/x)

Given that it is AC-130s destroying these boats, this seems relevant. My dad was in the first group to fly AC-130s in regular combat operations, 12/68-9, mostly trying to interdict and destroy vehicle traffic along the Ho Chi Minh trail. (1/x).

Fact is, for a significant segment of the West Coast Vietnamese-American community, MAGA/Musk racism is a feature, not a bug. As they perceive it is really mostly anti-Black and anti-Latino and they share these sentiments. These folks may be buying Tesla’s BECAUSE of Musk’s racism, not despite it.
