Vandalism vs Genocide.
There’s no equivalence.

Israel is an utter abomination which is now mimicking the SS forces that obliterated the Warsaw Ghetto. They’ve ended any support from all other than fascist stated, and as a nation it’ll take decades, if ever, to recover from this disgrace.

Well, we know the UK government is funded by foreign states. PA? There’s less proof.
August 10, 2025 at 9:25 PM
Not many. It’s a trial law that will expanded into many other areas depending on the kickback.
I don’t see why the Government doesn’t grow up, start working as if it has even a vestigial conscience and then reads about what the Labour Party is supposed to be instead of dabbling in neoliberalism.

Follow the money.
August 10, 2025 at 8:07 PM
They’re not. They’re actually simple. Corruption, appeasement and zero interest in the British people. That’s what we have today. And I think what you’re saying is exactly what they hope people will say.
However, I will not have a government pissing down my back and telling me it’s raining.
August 10, 2025 at 7:51 PM
Why do you say that?
There’s certainly dodgy money and intention. On the government’s side. 13 of the 25 cabinet members are funded by Pro-Israel lobbyists. D’you think that might have some influence on laws like this, or appalling government perspectives on genocide?
August 10, 2025 at 7:45 PM
Eh, if you think that was terrorism then you need to get out more. Terrorism is about creating conditions around violence, damage and death that make people fear for their lives, not merely reaching for the anti-graffiti solvent. It’s an attempt to pacify pro-Israel genocide supporters.
August 10, 2025 at 7:42 PM
Sorry, I disagree with you as you’re starting to repeat the government nonsense.
To me this law is driven primarily by the donors to the Labour Party, the Government’s wives and friends and the Labour Friends of Israel Group. It has no moral legitimacy and is a grotesque over reaction.
August 10, 2025 at 7:39 PM
I’d agree with that. Enough legislation already existed to deal with it reasonably.
August 10, 2025 at 7:35 PM
It’s a necessary action.
Unfair laws need to be challenged publicly.
August 10, 2025 at 7:12 PM
It’s not about truth, it’s about rights. The British government seem happy to arrest pensioners with signs, but where people supporting real banned organisations that have murdered hundreds march with banners in broad daylight, or putting effigies and death warnings on Bonfires, they’re ignored.
August 10, 2025 at 7:12 PM
Yes, the government is always right. Apparently.
August 10, 2025 at 7:05 PM
‘Simple’. Yes, if you’re happy to drift through life ignoring all those difficult moral dilemmas involving genocide, human rights, freedom of expression, principles etc etc.
August 10, 2025 at 7:04 PM
Yep. Put my name down too…

Bunnahabhain and Tomatin for me!
I’d like to try the Ardnamurchan too, as I’ve enjoyed the NcNean from there.

Well, Putin now owns the US, so Trump won’t be swopping anything.
