...consequences that may follow which will possibly mean losing the friendship and causing more #RSD spiralling. Or should I delete them before they are read and pretend like nothing happened. Swallow down the pain, continue to mask and just deal with/ignore it quietly?

Interesting, thanks for the heads up. Found it on Etsy but seems to by one of the guys from GSW as well but I'll keep digging. Find it odd there are no reviews of it anywhere.

Sorry it took so long for your diagnoses to come through. I know from my wife's experience how distracting and frustrating it can be just waiting for answers.

My wife has been fighting for an Autism diagnosis for nearly 4 years at this point which has been taking a lot of the energy we have. Once that is finalised (hopefully in next few months) I will be down the GP to get myself sorted.

Just at the exploratory stage at the moment. Understanding what it is, what it looks like, how it impacts day to day life. I live in a blackhole when it comes to NHS mental healthcare so need to go prepared otherwise I'll get nowhere.

A great thread and very well expressed. I'm going through my own ADHD journey at the moment and can relate to a lot of this. Like you, I love the idea of alt-text but also find myself freezing and getting stressed about what to put. So far I've let that get the better of me but I'll get there.
