Saturday. Baby woke at 6am. Big kids had their taekwondo classes. Then I had to feed them again, take them to swimming class, then a 5yo birthday party. Just put baby to sleep. I’m spent.

Late next year I’m taking 18 undergraduates to Manila in the study abroad trip of a lifetime. Can’t wait!

So happy to be working in a team with these rockstar historians to write a history of many empires in Micronesia, thinking about the and ruptures across Spanish, German, Japanese, and US colonialism in the Pacific. Thanks to the Australian Research Council for funding this important project.
