I got a bill for $90k+ for my heart surgery. Insurance co said it required pre approval & 0.6cm diameter was just fine—surgery wasn’t medically necessary. Didn’t matter I felt like I would pass out walking across a flat parking lot. 2.5-3cm is average valve diameter. Took months to get sorted.

I feel so badly for him and his family.

I haven’t had much success in getting them crispy in the oven… the prepared ones you can get frozen seem to work better than when I make them myself.

I’m the same—I’m not a sweet eater…. I would rather have a handful of chips over a dessert any day. 🙂

I like to cube them and toss with olive oil, chili powder, and a bit of cumin then roast. Or slice into rounds and put them in a foil packet with potatoes, sliced onions, garlic, olive oil, and herbs. 🙂
