We’ve got 30 more days of this… I really hope that the liberals haven’t peaked too early. I always worry about polling these days. But I kind of get the impression that people want bland and competent rather than shrill and shouty

This seems to be where people in that country to the south of us go wrong.

It’s also funny you mention this because I volunteered for them in a riding that we swept the city in in 2015 provincially. They spent a lot of time rallying their troops in friendlier areas but if one area was even the lightest shade of blue it was a no-go.

For me, my patience is running thin with them because I feel like they’ve forgotten entirely where they came from just to chase power. They don’t engage with people where the votes are.

He reminds me a little of Joe Clark in how wooden and stiff his speaking is. He does project competence, but he needs to bring the personality up just a slight notch. On the other hand, we did have flashy… Maybe bland will work

If I were Carney and I won a majority? I’d do it. I might almost consider making him the Governor General. I’d probably just stick with the Senate appointment though. Should someone who was PM really suddenly become the viceregal?
