Badda bing badda boom from the womb to the band room
Oh, then fuck it. The moment it hurts even a tiny bit, schedule a dentist’s appointment immediately.

Perfect for my buddy, Raphael. He’s so hard to please.

And that’s everything! I had a great time trying out all these games, and I’m excited for next year’s list! I’ve already got lots of stuff lined up, from games I got myself, to gifts from friends and family, I am SPOILED for choice! But as for 2025, that’s a wrap. Happy New Year, everyone!

Deltarune: TOBY FOX, YOU DID IT AGAIN! While Chapter 2 remains my favorite so far, the 2 new chapters are of that same peak quality I’ve come to expect from this team. While I’m certainly nervous as we quickly approach the endgame, I am on the edge of my seat BUZZING for more!

Disco Elysium: an RPG like no other, DE follows a self destructive shell of a man fighting to make a bleak world just that much better for those around him, and for himself. Beautiful, heartbreaking, humorous, and tragic, this game is one you simply must experience. Masterpiece.

Ghost Of Tsushima: a beautiful samurai-action game, GoT tells the tragic story of a man forced to abandon the ideals of duty and honor he holds dear, all to save the country and people he loves. And all wrapped up in some of the most fun I’ve had with a AAA game in a long while.

The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe: I’m very happy my friend @therealother1.bsky.social convinced me to play this game. From its flawless narration, to its ability to freely change the story from humor to suspense to meta and back again, it’s no wonder that this indie classic is so well loved.

Wandersong: equal parts wonderfully silly and humorous, while at the same time deeply moving and genuine, Wandersong is a gem in indie gaming’s crown. For me, a perfect indie game experience. I genuinely don’t have the room to type out all the things I loved in this. Play it!

The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom: the fact that a game this big, and this fun, and this full of stuff can run so well on the NINTENDO SWITCH is a genuine triumph. While I’ll probably go back to BOTW more often, TOTK has been one of the most fun games I’ve played.

Dave The Diver: one of those games I enjoy playing, then immediately try to get everyone else hooked to as well. A simple concept executed masterfully, and so much bigger than I originally thought, and wrapped up in an addictive gameplay loop that easily passes the 3AM test.

RoboCop: Rouge City: I hate to say it, but this game really makes you feel like RoboCop. Few games have so successfully made me feel like an unkillable tank as this one. Not gonna blow anyone away, but if you like RoboCop and action-packed shooters, I’d highly recommend this one!

Fallout: London: honestly? One of the best Fallout games I’ve played. It does suffer from the same problem New Vegas does of “crashes-all-the-time-itis” but the quality of the content can’t be denied. If you’re a Fallout fan, I highly recommend trying it out if you can.

What The Golf?: a wonderfully silly golfing game that is able to find that perfect balance of keeping things fresh and fun, while staying for the perfect amount of time so as not to get dull. A fun indie title to play when you’re bored, and looking for some simple and clean fun.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered: well, I really enjoyed the FIRST half of this game. But by the time I’d reached the endgame, I was just sprinting through rooms, running past enemies, and tanking trap damage. A really good rpg, but not enough to extend the fun long term.

Mount & Blade: Bannerlord: I have been playing the M&B franchise for a while, and have had a GREAT time with Bannerlord so far. There’s just something so satisfying about controlling a literal army in an attempt to conquer the world. Haven’t played the ship dlc, but I’m excited!

Ink: another simple game with a simple premise. However, where First Cut felt too short, this one felt far too long. They probably could’ve cut 20 or so levels, and it would’ve been the perfect little platformer. It may overstay its welcome, but still a fun game overall.

First Cut: Samurai Duel: a simple indie game with a wonderfully simple premise, yet offering a surprising amount of difficulty. I burned through this one in an afternoon, too, and was surprised by how short it was. For the video game equivalent of an hors d'oeuvre, excellent!

Island Saver: a simple game teaching children about both environmentalism and saving money. I don’t really remember playing this one, but I do know I blew through it in an afternoon, and I enjoyed it well enough for what it was. Not a bad game, but not one I think I’d play again.
