Ranking & Analysing Left 4 Dead 2 Gun Upgrades #1 Lazer Sights - Always pick it up especially when you have a AK47 + Increased accuracy + Better run-and-gun accuracy - Nothing #2 Fire Ammo - Generally pick it up unless you wall penetration is important at the time + Burns infected temporarily, especially good for tanks and chargers - Can’t wall bang for the ammo upgrade clip - Fire makes witches aggro to you even if a teammate triggered her - Can’t wall bang for the ammo upgrade clip #3 Explosive Ammo - Pick it up in hold ouit events to clear hordes or if you want more DPS on SMG + Stumbles SI + Area of effect, making it easier to kill a horde by shooting on the floor & have to be less acurrate - Can’t wall bang for the ammo upgrade clip - Stumbles special infected rather than killing with one shot with high calibere weapon like the AK47 - Area of effect, can easily friendly fire
