Today is World Orca Day and I had the best start to this week b/c I spent yesterday following Hulk & Nott - 2 visiting bulls from Iceland. They swam right in at the bottom of the cliffs 🤩

Can anyone point me towards Rough-toothed dolphins (Steno bredanensis) research?
I was in Madeira last year & these prehistoric looking, toothy cetaceans with their mottled pink & grey bellies, beautiful stripes & toothy underbites are absolutely captivating 🦑

I've spent much of 2024 out at sea collecting data about cetaceans (dolphins, porpoises and whales). A common question I'm asked is; do you ever get bored seeing the same animals?
Absolutely not. My soul sings. Every sighting fills me with joy and hope. #MarineLife 🦑

WOOHOO! We finally saw the #AuroraBorealis aka the Northern Lights. I've even got some videos. This makes up for the terrible storms. While I know the science behind them, it is a spiritual experience that feeds the soul
