10. Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter (10/23/25)
Fantastic remake! Simplifying the combat from Daybreak but still modernizing it from its PSP counterpart was a great choice and I loved how fluid it all felt. I understand the connection between Estelle and Joshua and now I definitely need 2nd Chapter!

9. Trails to Azure (9/21/25)
Going through my out of order Trails journey now puts me at 6 games completed! Azure really put the SSS high on the list in terms of teams throughout this franchise. Combat was expanded from Zero and the story was entertaining with backstories weaving together.

8. Silent Hill 2 (8/30/25)
Now I understand why this game is beloved. This game made me feel tense all the way through. The anxiety I felt while playing was never ending. The sound design creeped me the hell out especially in the Prison! I'm glad Bloober Team put out an excellent remake.

7. Visions of Mana (8/15/25)
Such a beautiful game. The art style is such a beauty to look at with its vibrant colors and landscapes. Combat starts off slow but progressively gets better but I still felt it was missing some oomph when it comes to the melee classes. Just a charming game throughout.

Loving the battle system in Expedition 33 so far! I definitely got a little excited at the end of the clip there haha.

While I have issues with how the story was told and how time travel was handled, it wasn't necessarily an annoyance but a weird decision in my opinion. However, combat was even more flashy and fun than the last entry and characters still gain their development!

3. Monster Hunter Wilds (Forgot the date 😅)
I haven't played Monster Hunter since World before Iceborne was a thing so it was nice to dive back in with a bunch of friends (and still playing!) This entry is definitely the most accessible one to begin and I was thankful for that! Switch Axe baby!

2. The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero (1/29/25)
It was nice to start this game after finishing Cold Steel 2 and having a simpler party! The start of the Crossbell arc offers much worldbuilding and the characters while simple also offered great development. I love going through this franchise.

Played Tales of Graces earlier in co-op through share play on PS5 earlier and it reminded me of how much I love the series for that aspect. I hope for the next entry, Bandai Namco brings back co-op for it. It's such a fun way to play the games. It made me sad to see it gone for Arise.

The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Orchestra was such a great time today! I'm so glad I chose floor seats! When I went for the Remake concert few years back, I got balcony seats and my legs felt like they wanted to break the seat in front of me with the non existent leg room. 😂 Loren Allred was stunning!

I started this game when the game released in 2023 and I thought the intro was incredible. The characters are great and I feel Clive is one of the best main characters FF has had in a while. However, there are issues I have with the game. I'll make a separate thread!

I enjoyed the marriage of game mechanics from Persona as well as battle mechanics from SMT. Along with a spectacular cast, in which every person felt useful in battle as well as having great personalities, it felt difficult to put this game down. What a ride. ❤️

Great closure given to the cast and quality of life changes as well to make it accessible to everyone. I noticed dialogue changes but definitely were made for the better. Metis needs to ban the word sister though 😂 Love the team! 😭
