⚠️ #Greece was in the 5th worst place between the #EU-27 Member States, recording a 7.2% increase in #gasconsumption between 2025-2024 for the period January to September.

Consistently in last places are Austria and Poland, while Finland and Sweden are leading.

📊 The first source of #imports in the first 10 months of 2025 was #LNG with 25.1 TWh. #Russian #gas via Sidirokastro came close with 23.2 TWh.

➡️ Cumulative #exports for the 10-month period were 5.7 TWh, with the overwhelming majority coming from Sidirokastro.

⚡ In the first 10 months of 2025, #gas demand for #electricity generation (40.5 TWh) and gas demand in #networks (10.2 TWh) reached record high levels.

In last place was the #industrial sector with 6.3 TWh, down 16.1% compared to 2024.

🔌 The average #carbon intensity for 2025 is 251.8 g CO2/kWh. Without #RES #curtailments during the first 9 months, carbon intensity would be 8% lower at 231.4 g CO2/kWh, while the #power sector would emit 0.95 less million tons.
