This is exactly how I looked hammering a nail...when I was 5. Now I'd just shove him out of the way and do it myself. That's so painful to watch.

This is a conversation I often have with people. No matter what someone does, I'm still responsible for my behavior (for good or ill). However, expressing frustration with a bad situation (raw sewage !?) is a perfectly human response. Allow yourself the grace you allow others.

He is a truly dismal writer who confuses a longwinded, syntactically garbled sentence with sharp intellectual insight. One he excels in, the other not so much.

People, especially Americans, have forgotten that politics are not a team sport, but rather a tool to serve the common good in our communities. Everything is connected and compartmentalizing is why there is so much cognitive dissonance re: government and its purpose.

I used it for an hour a few years ago and noped out. They had put in a stop sign down the street and people were losing their damned minds. I did not need to know that I'm surrounded by whiny assholes.

I trained in Taekwondo in my 40s and piano in my 50s. It's a great humbling experience to be a beginner. I was not particularly good at either. I like to make it worse by being completely enthusiastic about it. Have fun!
