📢 Progressives win #Vancouver 2025 by-election for two vacant seats!

Congrats @lucymaloney.bsky.social
@seanorr.bsky.social

By-election was considered a litmus test of Mayor Sim & majority ABC Party. The 1-2 hour waits were worth it.

The 3-word nasty slogans are likely to drive divisiveness, perhaps to mask misinformation & disinformation. PP is not working for Canadians' best interests.

Oh, here's @gudjeon meme of the 3-word sloganeering from that other place. There seems to be a recurring story...

Hey @alwaysvote.bsky.social thanks for calling B.C.'s opposition leader on xitter. Divisiveness at the provincial level is growing and aligned at the federal level with PP. Not the type of "leadership" Canadians with integrity want.

A tiny, Kemp's Ridley sea turtle was found on the shores Quebec’s Magdalen Islands.

More may swim north due to #ClimateChange, but may die from hypothermic shock in the north. They are one of the world’s smallest, most endangered turtle species.

"Food prices overall are estimated to increase by 3-5% in 2025 compared to 2024 — higher than the Bank of Canada's inflation target"

Factors:
* weaker CAD$ = w/ many food products imported, imports become more expensive
* extreme weather & #ClimateChange

The nasties are projecting and taking their anger out on others. Particular powers-that-be are tapping into that and manipulating. Don't let them bring you down.
