Nice collection of thoughts on pub etiquette! If we could immediately action the ‘no tissues, wet wipes or crisp packets shoved in glasses’ point that would be lovely.

We have a lot of nice wines and people focus on the by the glass menu. Come and drink the nice wines! We have a good stock of wines from excellent Black winemakers so please come and drink them 🍷

There was a fascist march in London yesterday, it’s true. There was also a lovely running day of heritage buses on the 54 route, which we feel is surely a greater representation of what it means to have joy and pride in your nation and its love of public transport vehicles.

You may be surprised by this but we’ve never made it into the Good Beer Guide and it’s down to not enough people scoring our excellent cask beer. Incidentally we are undecided whether we actually need to be included in the GBG as you can find us listed on What Pub anyway. Is the GBG irrelevant now?
