Just the fact alone that I don’t waste most of my time in boring “in between” tracks, makes Sonic more fun to me.
I can learn the tracks, figure out what vehicle setup works and just drive.

For me the more worrisome part here is, that the bike/open-world portion - at least in the short glimps we got - gave me the impression of being lower in quality and polishing. The discrepancy between this and the moment the game switched to the First person view was kind of shocking.

Necessary upgrade to be able to enjoy this game. Sad that this probably won’t fix the experience for switch 1 owners ☹️

Smart timing, considering that some of the shortcomings of Mario Kart World are actually strengths in the new Sonic Racing game.

I don’t like this move, but I get it. In the end every big company is just trying to not fall in disgrace …

I got it and the port is great. It’s so sad that the multiplayer is already close to dead. Some regions are empty and other just have a few players … this cool game cannot survive without cross play :(

(Trigger warning, this is my opinion) Insomniac was one of the few Sony studio which proofed its worth in the #playstation5 era. Hope the studio is able to maintain the quality and not fall into mediocrity like other first party studios did.

Been there, saw it irl and it’s still amazing being reminded how beautiful it is.
