While a lot of my friends from the Unlikely Community went to Awdry’s Exhibit in the UK, I had a lot of fun volunteering for the Illinois Railway Museum at Day Out with Thomas, paying tribute to Britt Allcroft with small figures of her in HO scale & a Shining Time Station 1/7

Knowing that today would’ve been my mom‘s 60th birthday, I have come to a point where I am remembering her very fondly now. I never let her sickness fill my mind with toxic and feel bitter anymore. I mission in life now is to try to live a life that she would be proud of. There are many 1/2

because nobody can be any more kind to yourself than you. Kind of reminds me of Edward’s message to young engines lol

Before mental health awareness month comes to an end, I want to remind people that it’s OK to not feel OK
I still struggle mentally, but I have learned to be kind to myself Because you only get one life. You are you, & only you, and the best that you can do for yourself is to be kind to yourself 1/

With Mother’s Day coming, it still hurts to know you won’t be there after 9 years since you left this world. Wishing you never got sick to make things right, & the pain from learning of your sickness as well as seeing you sick will never leave me. I want you to know that I still love you and 2/2

Today and tomorrow are really difficult times of the year for me. For today, I can’t help but think to wish Happy Birthday to Julia Freeman, who would’ve been 30 years old today! She was one of the few people that I grew up going to school with that knew I had a passion for Thomas & Friends 1/2
