This is what I think most people still don’t understand: They are playing for keeps. There is no way this group of thugs will voluntarily relinquish power. The peaceful transfer of power is a thing of the past.

There's a reason religiosity has been falling in America for a while now. Churches care more about putting authoritarians in power then helping the poor.

I question whether any of them will ever be held accountable at all. Covered faces, cars with no identifying markings and no license plates. How will we ever know who they are and if we do, are we ready to have a gunfight at their compound in rural Idaho to arrest them?
