How odd to open a 30+ year old paperback bought for two dollars at a rummage and find that the first story is composed in your own authorial voice.
The story is entitled The Wicked Old Witch and the author is George Alec Effinger.

It's kind of weird how often a spell checker corrects me, and it is in fact a perfectly cromulent word, spelled correctly, that I am using, at least according to other dictionaries (it's dictionaries all the way down). Is this happening to anyone else?
