My aunt passed away in 2022 after having covid. She refused to get the vaccine because of the word vomit from Trump. She never masked up either. Had she at least masked up or gotten the vaccine, she would still be here. Trumps stupidity caused this. I don’t think I have ever hated someone so much.

I told my friends this is going to boil over to a point where it will be a repeat of Jan 6 but w/ the numbers of the protests/marches during the Vietnam War, in terms of people. About 3000 in 2021 compared to ~500,000 from 1967-1973. And I think people are done w/ the “playing nice/peaceful” part.

I don’t think so and as someone who takes meds every single day, I’m sort of panicking. Well, 100% panicking.

$35-$40 a month may not seem much, but when you add additional meds to that cost & OOP expenses, it adds up. I don’t want Congress to pass something to make meds more expensive but here we are. This is literally a life or death situation for me. And I didn’t vote for any of these idiots or 47.

I have to choose getting an infection or maximizing the amt of insulin that I use. Not only that, as a diabetic, infections can escalate very quickly in a matter of days. Sure, I use a prescription card, my insulin is a generic version & I have insurance, but it’s still expensive.

I use insulin & I try to use every last drop in the vial & in my pump. I am supposed to change my pump reservoir/tubing every 3 days to prevent infection, but I’ve been stretching it to 5 days. Despite the infection risk, I can’t afford to waste any insulin.

That in itself is un-American, disgraceful & goes against the very core reason why our founding fathers established America in the first place. We wanted freedom. But now? Well, we WERE a government for the people by the people. Not so much anymore.

Me too. We’re only on day 4. I’ve never been so exhausted in such a short amount of time in my life. While we continue to watch in horror, congress continues to do nothing (minus a few people like AOC, Bernie). They just sit there pretend they can’t do much. You can, you’re just choosing not too /1

HOW IS ANY OF THIS REMOTELY LEGAL? He can threaten people but when someone asks him to show mercy towards others, he wants to deport them. There is going to be a point where people are going to be pushed too far by this administration & I don’t see a positive outcome for anyone.

At this rate, he is opening himself up to some large protests (or riots) & I think people are past the “playing fair/being peaceful” game. Think January 6 (~2500-3000) but with the Vietnam War protest/march numbers (more than 100,000).

*Grant it, it has happened more in public schools vs private & charter schools, but it has happened nonetheless & no school is exempt.

My mom was a teacher & was against arming the staff. Didn’t matter if they could lock the weapons up. She had students that could break into her LOCKED file cabinets in under 30 seconds. But have a built in bullet proof shelter in the classroom to hide? Well that’s just crazy & wasteful.

I was proactive and blocked them all. Don’t want any of that smut clogging up my feed. I deleted my Instagram & threads profile & moved FB & Messenger to my hidden apps section on my phone. I can’t quite get rid of FB because of family, but I have cut back on doing anything on it significantly.

Yes. Trump & Company is calling for the resignation/public apology from Bishop Budde as well because she asked Trump to show mercy on Monday. They want her, an American born citizen to be deported. I’m not joking. 🙃
