💯Total execution fail. And to beat @thegr8chalupa.bsky.social's drum, it could have been mitigated if we designed with patients, caregivers, consumers, tech, and providers all in the same room. As far as execution fails go, this one is pretty epic and seemingly avoidable. 😬 #HITsm #VivEvent25

And in many communities across Chicago, the rushed business strategy to deliver primary care. Patients and caregivers showed up. But when margins weren't there, neither were the stories. Leaves thousands who rely on those clinics to find it elsewhere or forego it altogether. #HITsm #ViVeEvent25

Love having the band back together, but missing a "tweet deck" like refresh experience still. Maybe they will add that feature in natively? Would make the chat thread much easier to follow - but those are small things compared to great minds getting together... #HITsm

Self and preventive care is it, Jane! Absolutely. And building ecosystems that integrate data that health consumers can understand/feel empowered by and apply in care environments they feel comfortable is in and of itself a form of empowerment/interoperability, too! #HITsm #VivEvent25

....even HRV status is still confusing for providers to make use of (even though I believe its one of the most valuable insights available via wearables so far). #HITsm

We've been asking for this for years. But also, at the same time, my Garmin still can't accommodate nuances for pregnancy, periods, or a run pushing a stroller. I wouldn't be ready for my stats to inform my EHR yet... (as much as I would like to). #HITsm

I am hugely passionate about this, having learned how to manage my son's care at home. We MUST include patient & caregiver voices to do this right - which MUST start being informed by experience. #HITsm

I also believe the use cases used for this exercise were too inherently transactional. We MUST start with complex, human-centered needs to guide the market strategy - not the other way around. (Or we will keep failing.) #HITsm

The retail health "experiment" coming back to bite us is a prime example of how we didn't do our homework when thinking about broadly assuming patients and caregivers needed/wanted/found value in these experiences before going all in. Tech comes with its own host of examples, too. #HITsm #ViVEvent25

Yes! In what other industry is it this "acceptable" to create so much friction for people who are at their most vulnerable. The marketer/UX brain is so overwhelmed how simple, yet impactful, the little things. Empathy shouldn't be an innovation. But sadly, it's a "differentiator" #HITsm #ViVEvent25

Well that would certainly be interesting!

TBH, I'd like to see #accountablecare reimagined with patients/caregivers included. They deserve the ability to hold all stakeholders accountable more than anyone, but there is currently no path to do so. #HITsm

What's frustration without access to resolution?

Rage.

Maybe patient/caregiver voices deserve equity in accountability.
