If memory serves, it opened less than a year before Grand Union went under. The inside was beautiful when it opened, and now it's cookie-cutter S&S.

It's amazing they kept this store open as long as they did. While Howell definitely did less business, this store wasn't much better. Even when it first opened as Grand Union, it was DEAD.

I just finally left Walgreens. I would have switched to Rite Aid, but now I have to deal with going to the insanely busy Wegmans. Hopefully they buck the trend of supermarkets closing their pharmacies.
