To all of you that feel discouraged, try to remember that as the final election results are tallied we have a clearer picture which shows that the majority of voters voted AGAINST Trump.
Don't fall for any messaging that Trump has a mandate, and that the majority of Americans agree with it.

This is why RFK's appointment would be so terrifying to me, especially in the current anti-vax, post-science landscape.

Absolutely, Christine. I don't trust my own memory or understanding a lot of the time. I also try to question any single source, for potential bias. Derrell Huff's book outlines how statistics can be utilized to tell a specific narrative, and information can be presented in "not-so-honest ways".

This is a topic I think a lot about. I believe one of the reasons most of us have flocked to BlueSky, is largely due to the proliferation of disinformation on other social media platforms. I will be trying to do my part to address this issue by trying to ensure I cite my sources on shared stories.
