That's not selfish - I really hope you get them. We need to push on our Government officials to stop treating services like things that need to make money. They are services for a reason, we have to stop treating them so capitalist.

I get we can't really *put the genie back in the bottle. Perhaps instead we make better wishes then. Better controls for our own lives. Also I like the idea that I take back a little bit more of my data and privacy. 🤷 Maybe I'm just being silly.

I don't do work that requires constant stimulation and connection. At worst, I'm dropping my phone bill in > half to receive the same amount of spam calls. I bet it would help me hyperfixation and time blindness a bit.
