Just a penguin who really likes Battletech, TTRPG, and video games.
Whoops, forgot to include some rather important tags.

Amid the chaos, a ranger loosed an arrow through gas and snow, striking Vaal Hazak’s withered heart. The Corpse Wyrm screamed, then collapsed as the last of its necrotic light was snuffed out. Silence fell. Laden with spoils, the warbands withdrew. Their heroics shall be told in awe and fear.

Vaal Hazak rose, exhaling a caustic cloud that withered flesh and cracked stone. Its hollow eyes blazed with hate. Yet the intruders fought on. Barbarians and spells united to shatter a third crystal, and the Corpse Wyrm faltered beneath their defiance.

Buried beneath a millennium of snow, the ruins of a tower hid Vaal Hazak’s lair. Its skeletal coils wrapped around the stone. Four crystals pulsed with baleful light. As the warbands clashed with wraiths and shattered the crystals, undead swarmed forth. The Corpse Wyrm began to stir.

Two warbands, an Elementalist and an Enchanter, braved the ruins of Felstad to test the legend of Vaal Hazak, the undying Corpse Wyrm whose shattered soul lingered in hidden crystals. As allies drew off the undead, they descended into the heart of the frozen city.

*I’d have gone with…

Man, my autocorrect isn’t the best nowadays.

Those look fantastic! The one thing I would’ve done differently is the basing material used. I’d have gotten be with smaller, finer sand to help give the illusion of scale. I’m also a fan of that green. Haven’t done it as a highlight alongside blue, but seeing it now makes me want to try it.

You know what, I’ll give that a shot. I have some Battletech mechs that I could test that out on. Thank you.

I currently have black, grey, and white Stynylrez. I feel like with drybrushing, I have more control on how much white is added on. Granted, there are times when note sure when there’s enough or too much white.

Before my airbrush, I’ve been using the slapchop method to get the results. They didn’t look bad at all. That being said, the airbrush has made the process faster and the results were smooth. I still prefer to drybrush the white highlights. Haven’t nailed down doing it with an airbrush yet.

Thank you! It was also a zen moment when I could pop on a podcast and listen while hacking away at foam.

You’re making me want to get those minis now. Let me add it to the long wish list of fantasy Zombicide additions I want.

I really had fun making these pieces. Sure, it was time consuming to cut the individual bricks, but it was so worth it. Eventually I want to make more.

Man I love this airbrush. I’ve been putting it through its paces when I did the zennithal priming for all my Zombicide minis. Plenty to learn, but it’s been an amazing tool.

Heck yeah! Zombicide really speaks to a part of me that grew up with the Left 4 Dead games. And now having fantasy versions of it is awesome!

Oh nice! I’m probably going to expand my collection once my situation gets better.

I’d have to say I lean just a little more to Green Horde. I really like the horde mechanic. That being said, Black Plague and No Rest for the Wicked added an excellent amount of challenge. Gotta love zombie dragons!

What they failed to realize was that the storm had stirred many a dangerous foe.
