For the past 10 years I have maintained, in fan fic and stacks of doodles, an ongoing continuity where the time between The Road to Oz and The Emerald City of Oz is around 10-15 years and Dorothy and Ozma reunite and have to respectively relearn what they know of the world as adults and fall in love
Oh my god there's an artist in New South Wales who did what I've been trying to do with The Creature for 2 years but on a grander and more intense scale how do I proceed

muppet christmas carol (happy holidays!)

In my "sappy christmas movies that make me cry at the 2 hour mark" era. Catch me openly weeping during Meet Me in St. Louis just because that little girl doesn't want to move to New York City.

It's a Wonderful Life inspired costumes for Gay Halloween:
-The guy whose great grandfather planted that tree
-Uncle Billy and his animals
-Violet in her Shein quality dress
-Mary in the hydrangea bush and footballer George
-The toll booth guy's spittoon
-Burping kid and vacuum

There isn't a single problem "solved" by edtech that couldn't be fixed with smaller classes led by well-paid teachers given real academic freedom

North Woods by Daniel Marston is just Over the Garden Wall for history nerds

It has been brought to my attention that the 7 ft tall Crystal of Truth from The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (2019) is up for auction
October 27, 2025 at 2:30 AM
Everyone who's not in Dark Crystal fandom needs to know that the thrilling conclusion is so past the point of shelved that everyone's witnessing it being sold at auction in pieces- in photographs to make cosplayers quake no less- and Bill Hader's gay coded puppet's hand crafted bong sold at $2500

I don't like when the TCM guest hosts choose a bizarre and strange balls to the wall movie then refuse to talk about it after. Anyway do you think Catherine the Great effectively utilized girl power when she inspired Jim Henson to do spooky 80s movies

Fascinated with TOTC (2019)'s inability to remember that the 90s show was set in the 70s and not the 90s while still staying true to the years of Anna's timeline

Oz media always loses the plot when it forgets that musical theater is essential to the heart of Oz. The Wicked book has an interesting and surprisingly thoughtful premise but it's too pretentious and edgy for its own good. The musical and film treatment refines it to something that "gets it".

Brides of Maracoor kind of sucked a lot but Oracle of Maracoor is kicking my ass because it's just The Wizard of Oz written by a guy who absolutely knows that set in his Wizard of Oz extended universe
