sexual violence is THE patriarchal technology of oppression. wherever there is any kind of oppression--colonialism, genocide, capitalism, the state, the police--there is sexual violence as its frontline operative mechanism. the child is THE archetypal object of legitimate disciplinary violence.

I think there was one girl who remained anonymous who said that Trump raped her when she was being trafficked by Epstein, but ultimately she ceased pursuing legal action against him out of fear of retaliation.

This is the first time that I can recall a non-anonymous survivor speaking though.

She’s saying that Maxwell made it clear that she was supposed to have sex with him, but she stops shy of saying if he actually did.

I don’t know all the details of the investigation, but the UK has succumbed so throughly to psychotic levels transphobia/transmisogyny that I imagine that the murders were just being inundated with messaging that told them that it was ok to murder their classmate and “friend” because she was trans.

It’s UK-based, but I’m so disturbed by what’s been unfolding in regards to the murder of that young trans girl at the hands of two other teens and how both politicians and *her own mother* are framing her legitimate hate crime of a murder as a result of her spending too much time online.
